These terms apply when you use the MotherMade app and website ("MotherMade"). By creating an account or starting a membership, you agree to them. If you have questions, email danielle@mothermadenutrition.com.
What MotherMade is
MotherMade is a pregnancy nutrition membership. It shows information about your baby's development each week, the nutrients that support it, recipes built around those nutrients, and grocery lists for those recipes.
Not medical advice
MotherMade provides general nutrition education and recipes for informational purposes only. It isn't medical advice, and it doesn't replace care from your doctor, midwife, dietitian or other healthcare provider. Always follow your provider's guidance about what to eat during pregnancy, especially if you have food allergies, a medical condition or special dietary needs. Check ingredient labels for allergens, and follow the food-safety and cooking instructions in each recipe. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your provider or emergency services right away.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and handle any membership payments. Please give accurate information, including your due date, so we can show you the right content. Keep your password private; you're responsible for activity on your account.
Membership and billing
- A monthly MotherMade membership costs $50 per month (US dollars), unless a different price was shown to you when you signed up.
- You're charged when you start your membership and then every month on the same date. Your membership renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Any applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
- If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it. If payment can't be collected, your access may be paused until it's resolved.
- If we change the price, we'll tell you in advance. The new price applies from your next billing date after the notice, and you can cancel before then.
Pregnancy Pass
- The Pregnancy Pass is a one-time payment that gives you full access to MotherMade for the rest of your current pregnancy. It doesn't renew and there's nothing to cancel.
- The price depends on your week of pregnancy when you buy it: $299 in the 1st trimester (weeks 1–13) and $199 in the 2nd trimester (weeks 14–27). From week 28, only the monthly membership is offered.
- The price is based on the due date in your account, so please keep it accurate.
Cancellation
You can cancel a monthly membership at any time:
- In the app: on the Home screen, tap "Manage or cancel my subscription".
- By email: write to danielle@mothermadenutrition.com from the email on your account.
When you cancel, you won't be charged again, and you keep access until the end of the month you've already paid for.
Refunds
Past payments aren't refunded, including partial months and Pregnancy Pass payments. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll look into it.
Using MotherMade
Your membership is for your own personal use. Please don't share your account, copy or resell MotherMade content, or try to access parts of MotherMade you aren't permitted to use.
Our content
The recipes, guides, text and design of MotherMade belong to MotherMade or its licensors. Some photos are stock photos used under their licenses. Photos show the type of dish and may not match each recipe exactly.
Changes and availability
We may update, add or remove features and content as MotherMade grows. We work to keep MotherMade available but can't promise it will always be free of interruptions or errors. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Limitation of liability
MotherMade is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, MotherMade isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
Changes to these terms
If we make important changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let members know in the app or by email. Continuing to use MotherMade after a change means you accept the updated terms.
